The world wind of New York Fashion Week has come to a close. This season, I was unable to attend due to work commitments, but with the wonderful world of social media, I could observe all the shows in real time via the internet.
Like every season, there were many spectacular collections gracing the runway.
With just a few days to go until Mercedes Benz Fashion Week (aka #NYFW) media, bloggers, models and fashionista from all over will descend on Lincoln Centre for the shows, 6- 13 September.

This season will be the first couture collection by newly appointed Raf Simon for the house of Christian Dior. Raf did not disappoint.
You have to hand it to Oscar de la Renta’s PR team for starting the trend in live pinning their runway show. Every moment was captured with images of backstage madness, dress details & models awaiting their moment on the runway.
