Front Row: Laverne Cox and Petra Nemcova
Must Have Item: Indigo Bandage Dress and Woven Bandage Swimsuit
Inspiration: The Onna-Bugeisha, female Japanese Warrior
Taking inspiration from female Japanese warriors, Hervé Léger by Max Azria produced a beautiful collection for their Ready to Wear Spring/Summer 2015 collection.
Keeping in line with their signature bandage dress style, the husband and wife design duo added in softer elements that reflected springtime in Japan. Bandage skirts with silky kimono-style tops and corset-styled dresses came in a range of blue lagoon, coral red, rose blush and icy mint.
The collection also featured two very sexy swimsuits made with their signature bandage-style in mind, the fabric woven together with metal details.
The makeup stayed on-trend with a minimalist look, but added a sense of glamour, using a thick top-lip liner on the eyes. We loved the corset heels showcased in black and beige.
Adding to the already successful show, for the first time the team at Hervé Léger used Instagram to allow fans of the brand to buy pieces from the show immediately. To find out more, sign up at www.LIKEtoKNOW.it
