You Don’t Have to Wear a Suit to Feel Strong.
A modern day woman is a warrior: strong, independent, fearless - defining herself through her actions and her personal style. Nicole Miller has been inspired by the Warrior Woman and has embraced her as the inspiration behind her Fall 2014 collection.
Heading into Fall, the team at Nicole Miller selected four fashion bloggers who embody the #NMWarriorwoman, and allowed each of them to express what being a warrior means to them.
Liz Cherkasova of Late Afternoon, Natalie & DylanaSuarez, of Natalie Off Duty & Color Me Nana, and Christina Caradona of Trop Rouge produced 3 short films about how fashion can make you feel strong, beautiful, and able to take over the world, without wearing a power suit.
In the third installment of the #NMWarrior campaign Christina of Trop Rouge takes us on a tour of New York City through her eyes. Flying high in a helicopter, scaling to the top of a roof, daily subway rides; she reminds us that starting each day is like starting a new chapter and that confidence is sexy. She embraces her personal style in a mix of feminine skirts and detailed tops from the Fall 2014 collection, while staying true to her tomboy self in her snapback hats.
We loved how she made us feel empowered to stay true to ourselves, to never settle, and that it’s ok to want to be a different woman every day. Through Christina’s eyes and Nicole Miller’s inspiration, we’re ready to do battle. Be it in a studded leather skirt and silky printed top, or leather skinny pants and a bold plum fur coat, we wear our style as armour, ready for battle.
